About
I have lived and traveled throughout Texas. My family has lived here for 7 generations and I look forward to helping with your legal matters for the long haul. I am happy to meet and discuss what I can help you with.
My practice is generally focused on trying to avoid estate problems before they become big. However, sometimes you cannot avoid what someone else does to you and I do handle selective criminal cases and civil matters. If I can’t handle something, I will refer you to a person that can.
Growing up in South Texas and spending all my summers in the piney woods, I chose to go to Texas A&M University for undergraduate work. Upon that, I worked with my family in a finance business before starting my own mortgage company in the growing town of McKinney, Texas. After a few years and restoring a 100-year-old farmhouse, I went to law school in Fort Worth. This school became known as Texas A&M University School of Law.
I have been in private practice in McKinney since Judge Justice swore me into the State Bar on May 3, 1999.
Tami and I have raised 3 great kids while practice many different types of law but the thing that brings it all together is that the stories are all about the people. Tami has over 26 years of building a youth and Christian education program at Trinity Presbyterian Church in McKinney, Texas. We have family members with disabilities and understand must plan for those times that life has touched your family.
